Today I saw the Katy Perry movie and I was totally inspired! I have decided that I'm going to actually try to reach my dream of becoming a singer/song writer, but I have also decided that can't depend on others to help me. Since I placed second in my school for the alto section for the solo contest last year, I am now going after first in my school. If I succeed, I will go for first place for all of the schools competing. I feel I need to challenge myself to become the best I can be.
In addition, I will continuing working on my skills as a writer and will be recording with Maddy later this month. After we finish recording all of our songs, we have decided to go our seperate ways musically. I feel this will not only be good for our progress, but also good for our friendship. The stress of writing together has taken the fun out of our friendship and I really want to get that back.
I'll talk to you guys again when I have made some progress in my goals.

Senior Year
Last year a lot of things turned to shit. I realized that some people who I cared for didn't really care about me. I also realized who my true friends are and have made some new ones. I'm not popular, but I can actually for once in my life, with confidence, that the people in my life love me. So I've got a new hair cut, new clothes, a new perspective on the relationships in my life, and I have a fresh start. I am going to do my senior year right. Ok, so I haven't done a lot of artwork since school got out. :P Maybe I should draw some PJ fan art just for old times sake. I'm sort of working on another OC page. If you don't know what I'm talking about I have a folder in my gallery for all the original characters from my book. UPDATE on my book: I decided to scrap my rough draft and start over. I'M NOT GIVING UP. Anyways, the reason I'm making a new character page is because I've never drawn out all the male characters before and seeing them helps me describe them in my writing.
